Great Horwood residents are invited to share their views on proposals for new homes on land south of Weston Road on January 30.
Plans will be on display at Great Horwood Village Hall, between 2pm and 7pm, so people can give feedback to the Taylor Wimpey project team.
Comments will be used to draw up detailed plans before a second public consultation.
A planning application will then be submitted to Aylesbury Vale District Council.
John Gilbey, chairman of Great Horwood Parish Council said: “There is some opposition to the development, but I think that is down to concerns about the scale and size, and that people would prefer to develop across different areas and not just overload one part of the village.
“The neighbourhood planning forum is looking at coming up with the best solution for the village’s development, and we will be querying a couple of inaccuracies and we will also ask the developers who they have circulated the leaflets too. We fear if only a small section of the parish has received the leaflet then it’s not a full representation of the residents’ views.”
Victor Idowu, senior land manager for Taylor Wimpey South Midlands said: “We understand the importance of giving local people the chance to get involved and have their say on development plans for their community – and that’s why we want to give Great Horwood residents every opportunity to view and comment on our initial concept plans.”
