A scheme to build up to 250 homes in Winslow has been given outline planning permission.
The plan, by Land and Partners Ltd, is for a development on 8.23 hectares of agricultural land adjacent to Furze Lane, which is among the areas earmarked for development in the draft Winslow Neighbourhood Plan.
The exact mix of housing units is still to be agreed but the initial proposal was for 50 one and two-bedroom flats and 200 homes, with 35 per cent of the properties being affordable housing.
Jonathan Harbottle, of Land & Partners, said: “With permission now granted, we want to work up the Design Code that sets up the quality of the design and spaces, which will inform our next step of finding our house builder partner to work with.
“We also want to find out how much demand there is for self build and if so what sort of homes people are looking to build. People can still make comments to us through our dedicated website www.winslow-vision.com or contact us on 01494 728080.”
