LloydsPharmacy in Buckingham launched its new concept in pharmacy last week.
The ribbon was cut by Jean Summers, vice-chairman of Cancer Research UK’s Buckingham Relay For Life 2014.
The Buckingham team will now offer Lloyds’ new approach to community health, including a free skin health service covering all aspects of skin health from medicines management advice for people on prescription treatment to medicated skin products.
And the pharmacy will soon be getting a state-of-the-art skin analyser machine.
Pharmacist Lana Rudenko said: “What we want to do is help people discuss their health problems, offer support on how we can help them and how they can help themselves, all in relaxed surroundings where people can feel more comfortable talking about their concerns.”
