Students from Sylvie Essame School of Dance, Brackley, all achieved a distinction grade in their recent Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance exams. The dancers were judged on their modern theatre dance and jazz dance and of the 22 exams taken by the nine pupils, there were 19 distinctions and three merits. Five dancers were also chosen to perform a contemporary dance piece in the Activate Youth Dance Festival in Aylesbury on April 27 and again at Banbury Can Dance last weekend.
