Cooper School in Bicester invited 160 year one pupils to take part in the annual Cooper Family Dance Festival.

Pupils learned a dance based on the book Giraffes Can’t Dance and then put on a performance at the end of the day.

Twenty year eight students at The Cooper School helped organise the festival.

Pupils from Langford Village, Longfields, Finmere, Fringford, Charlton-on-Otmoor and Launton Primary Schools took part.

Giraffes Can’t Dance tells the story of Gerald the Giraffe who finds he can dance when he believes that he can and receives the admiration and acceptance of the other jungle animals.
