A portrait artist from Winslow and a blacksmiths from Brackley are among the creative talents taking part in the Artists And Makers Fair this weekend.

Peter Keegan and Iron Forged Designs will be joining local artisans including painters, photographers, ceramicists, jewellers, chocolatiers, laser cut designers, pen turners and even a photographer who makes 100 per cent waterproof Aqua Canvases.

The fair is from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday at a new venue, the Ivinghoe Old School Community Hub and Town Hall, on High Street, Ivinghoe.

Organiser Sally Evans said: “I’m delighted to welcome some wonderful, local artistic talent for the first time in Ivinghoe. I have chosen the location because I wanted to support this venue which has been lovingly brought back to life by the villagers. I really hope people will visit, marvel at the artists’ skills and take home some beautiful handcrafted pieces of art.”
