The Aylesbury Vale neighbourhood police and Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC) held a roadshow event in Buckingham last Thursday to raise awareness of shed and garage burglary as part of its springtime burglary campaign. AVDC community safety officers Alan Garside and Keith Brindle are pictured with PCSOs Unita Hopkins and Nathan Howson and Seb Cooke, sales manager at Browns.

Shed burglaries tend to rise in the spring and people are urged to remain vigilant.

There will be another roadshow at Buckingham Garden Centre from 11am to 3pm on Wednesday, April 2, when Vale residents can bring up to three tools to be security marked, along with one pedal cycle. Bolts and padlocks will be demonstrated and garden security advice will be provided.
