For those with an interest in 18th century fashion, speaker Ian Chipperfield will be presenting a talk on Georgian fashion at Stowe House on April 13.
Mr Chipperfield originally trained as a modern dress maker and pattern cutter and has spent years working through museum collections making replica gowns using traditional techniques.
Called Dressing the 18th Century Woman, his talk, which starts at 8pm, will look at an 18th century attired woman and explain the layers of clothing, their history and how they were made.
Doors open for the event, which will take place in the State Music Room, at 7.30pm with drinks on arrival.
