Jewellery and electrical items were stolen in two house raids on Wednesday.

Thieves forced glass in a door at a home in Charlton to get in and steal items.

In Farthinghoe, offenders may have been disturbed as they attempted to force a ground floor window between 1-2pm and they left empty-handed.

Police will be making follow-up enquiries in the area today.

Sgt Micki Simons, of Brackley Safer Community Team, said: “We would ask that residents remain vigilant for any suspicious vehicles or activity and ensure that all doors and windows are locked when away from home.”

Anyone with information should contact Northants Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
