A pair of thieves smashed their car into a Co-op store to break open the doors and escaped with a ‘bed-sheet’ full of cigarettes.

They reversed a green Ford Fiesta into the front of the High Street store in Brackley before loading up the cigarettes and driving away with them.

The incident happened on June 6 and now police are appealing for witnesses.

Both men were white and about 5ft 6in tall. The driver of the Fiesta is described as around 30 years old with a chubby build and dark balding hair. He was wearing a long-sleeved blue top.

The other man was about 25 years old with a slim build. He was wearing dark gloves, a light-blue hooded top, light-blue jeans and Adidas Samba trainers.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
