A new tourist information board has been installed at Silverstone Circuit.

South Northants Council (SNC) installed the board at the circuit’s visitor centre to promote the district as a tourist destination. It includes information on Silverstone itself, the home of Formula One, and details on the landscape which surrounds it. The market towns of Brackley and Towcester feature alongside some of the district’s beautiful conservation villages.

Councillor Rupert Fordham, portfolio holder for economic development and regeneration, said: “Five of these excellent notice boards have now been located around south Northants to help inform visitors on the wide variety of things they can see and do in our district, as part of our planned approach to promote our tourism attractions and support the local economy.”

Other boards are seen at Sulgrave Manor, Stoke Bruerne, Salcey Forest and Towcester Racecourse.
