The couple are surrounded by their friends and family, including Alice’s mother Mary and father Thomas, at their historic home in Crown House, overlooking Market Square.

And today, the beautifully etched initials of sister, Annie Walker, on a small window pane hint that possibly Alice wasn’t the only person to celebrate such a significant event there.

It is Grade II listed and boasts more than 3,500 sq ft of accommodation.

There is an open event tomorrow from noon until 1pm.
