Farm worker Beynan Davies has received a long service award from the North West Bucks Agricultural Association (NWBAA).

The award was presented by the association’s chairman, Louisa Richardson, at a lunch at The Swan in Grendon Underwood on Wednesday.

Mr Davies has worked for David Prosser at his 450-acre sheep farm, Cedars Farm, in Mursley, for 32 years.

Mr Prosser, said: “I used to employ five and he’s the only one I’ve got now. The machines do it now.”

The NWBAA is holding a hedgelaying competition in Charndon from 8.30am on Friday, November 15, with judging at 3pm. Members of the public are welcome to turn up and watch. Just follow the signs.
