Young members of Harmonie De Thizy gave a morning ‘coffee and cake concert’ at Winslow’s St Laurence Room during last weekend’s twinning visit, before joining forces with Winslow Concert Band in the evening for a spectacular musical programme played to a packed hall at the Winslow Centre.

Winslow Anglo French Twinning Association (WAFTA) played host to the largest ever contingent of visitors from Winslow’s twin town, Cours La Ville, with 109 people arriving for a four-day stay.

At a celebration dinner, 200 guests were entertained by Harmonie De Thizy and Winslow singer Paul French.

Representatives of Winslow and Cours La Ville laid wreaths at the War Memorial.
