Green Dragon Rare Breeds Farm and Eco Centre in Hogshaw are offering ‘Nativity On The Farm’, a new package for primary schools and the general public.

East Claydon were the first school to take advantage of the new event.

Hannah Nixon, education
officer at the farm, said: “The children had a tour of the farm then lunch and then took part in a nativity play where they got to dress up as animals.”

The animal costumes used as part of the event were made by fashion students at Aylesbury College.

Ms Nixon added: “We had 39 pupils aged two to seven and they dressed up as camels, donkeys, sheep and cows.”

The nativity event will be available to the public in December. To find out more, call 01296 670444.
