WINSLOW & District Ramblers would welcome new members to join them.
In July, more than 20 members joined a ramble to Cottisford, taking in the 16th century granary and dovecote in Tusmore Park.
Member Pamela Smith said: “The following Saturday, Brenda took 13 of us on a four-mile walk from Stratton Audley across fields of frisky Friesians, singing skylarks ascending, and ribbons of wild flowers hosting an array of butterflies.
“Just as we reached the end of our hot and humid trek, the heavens opened and in just a few minutes we were soaked through!
“On Sunday, July 17, we joined Irene on a five-and-a-half-mile walk from West Bletchley to Windmill Hill, Loughton Brook and Furzton Lake.
“The following Saturday saw a longer ramble from Bow Brickhill Woods, through Buttermilk Wood and Woburn Golf & Country Club.
“The last walk of the month was from North Marston Village Hall, passing the church, across farmland to Granborough.”
