The fourth Buckingham Swimathon takes place on Saturday, March 14, at the Swan Pool.

Organised by Buckingham Rotary Club, the Swimathon aims to raise £10,000 for local charities and good causes.

Swimmers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to take part in the fun challenge, which has so far raised over £28,000 for local causes.

Swimmers are asked to raise team sponsorship, with half the money raised going towards the Swimathon’s four chosen good causes. The other half will go to charities nominated by the swimmers themselves.

The four main beneficiaries are Buckingham & Winslow Young Carers (YC2),; Buckingham, Winslow & District Citizens’ Advice Bureau, Buckingham Youth Centre and Florrie’s Children’s Team.
