DOG owners in Buckingham are being encouraged to clean up after their pets.

Following a number of complaints from residents about dog mess on pavements and in parks – particularly Bourton Park – Buckingham Town Council is working with Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC) to reduce fouling.

Council officers will target problem areas by using temporary marker paint to spray round the dog mess.

This will make it easier for park users to avoid stepping in the mess and show dog walkers just how much mess is being left behind.

To report dog fouling, email greenspaces@aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk or call 01296 585395.
