Pair charged after £14,600 jewellery theft

Two people have been charged after three rings worth £14,600 were stolen from Bicester Village.

Meana Spooner, 45, from Hazelville Road, Birmingham, has been charged with one count of receiving stolen goods.

Steven Spooner, 47, from Vincent Drive, Birmingham, has been charged with one count of theft.

The charges relate to a theft in Bicester Village on September 4 when three rings were stolen from a shop.

The pair were arrested and charged on the day of the theft and have been released on bail to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on September 19.
