Plans to build 210 homes on land at Wood Burcote has been given planning permission.
The application also includes a public park as well as financial contributions to the upkeep of the park, leisure facilities, education, the provision of refuse and recycling bins, fire and rescue and town centre improvements.
The plans were approved at a meeting of South Northants Council’s development control committee last month.
The original application, which was submitted in July 2012, was for 190 homes but was amended to 210 homes in November 2013.
South Northants Council received 25 letters of objection to the development from residents raising concerns over increased traffic on Wood Burcote Lane and other surrounding roads. Towcester Town Council also raised concerns.
