One of the world’s great landscape photographers, Michael Kenna, is making a nostalgic journey back to his English roots for a special exhibition.
Kenna has a specially chosen selection of images and will talk about his 35-year career as an internationally respected photographer at Stowe School.
Kenna was born in the UK, starting his lifelong passion for photography at the Banbury School of Art in Oxfordshire but has lived in the USA since the 1970s.
Deborah Clarke, of Stowe Arts, said: “I’m sure he will give a fascinating talk about his life in the arts. He is known to be a hugely entertaining and inspirational speaker, informative, fascinating and extremely inspiring.”
The exhibition starts today, Friday, from noon to 3pm, and then tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday, 1pm to 4pm. There is a talk on October 2 at 7.30pm in the State Drawing Room of Stowe House before a second exhibition running from October 24 to 26.
