Nine charity swimmers at the Swan Pool and Leisure Centre, who took part in the World’s Biggest Charity Swim in April, have succeeded in raising over £738 for Marie Curie Cancer Care, after swimming 1.5km, 2.5km or 5km distances, either individually or as part of team.

Each year across the UK, about 23,000 people take part in the world’s biggest charity swim event, which over the past 28 years has raised over £40 million for good causes.
