Two people were hurt as they tried to stop a pair from ram raiding a high street Co-op store.

The pair drove into the front of the Co-operative food store in High Street, Brackley, at 2am this morning.

Members of the public tried to stop the men and suffered injuries in the process.

A 31-year-old man and a 27-year old man have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently in police custody.

It is the second time in three months that the store has been targeted with a ram-raid.

Police officers will be carrying out reassurance patrols in the area today, Wednesday, and anyone with any information or concerns is encouraged to speak with them.
