A fun day at the Winslow Centre on Sunday, June 24, raised £7,010 profit for Alec’s Angels.
About 1,500 people attended the fun day and nine teams entered the It’s A Knockout contest. Organiser Brian Jarvis said it was such a success he is planning a repeat event next year on Father’s Day, June 16, so get in touch and register your It’s A Knockout teams of 10 now.
The minimum donation is £500 per team.
On Saturday, September 15, Alec’s Angels is holding a bingo night at Buckingham Community Centre, run by Sue and Tid carter. Doors open 6.30pm, eyes down 8pm, and there will be cash prizes and a raffle.
Alec’s Angels also has places available for runners in the MK Marathon on May 6 2013.
Set up in memory of Mr Jarvis’ son Alec, Alec’s Angels supports Helen & Douglas House, CLIC Sargent and Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund.
