GRANBOROUGH Parish Council wants to encourage residents to consider becoming a councillor.

Elections for the parish council take place every four years, and the next one is on May 5.

As a parish councillor, you can represent the views of members of your village and have a say on how money is spent. Parish councillors are unpaid, and most of the current councillors are also in full-time employment.

For more information, contact any councillor or clerk Victoria Firth, via www.granborough.com Nomination packs are available from Electoral Services at Aylesbury Vale District Council, on 01296 585050, and must be returned by April 4.
