BUCKINGHAM Old Gaols annual contribution to the National Science and Engineering Week was a great success with more than 40 children taking part in experiments in the museum.

With our regular scientists Keith Cameron, Chris George from the RLS, Ed Grimsdale, Brian Orger, Ron Thompson and volunteers Pam, Lilian, Jacob, Vicki and Oliver in attendance much fun was had by all.

Bubbles, soap making, rainbows, areoplanes and a ‘floating’ challenge won by Elliot continued throughout the day. A visit by John Bercow MP was welcome, he spent time chatting at each base.
