A PAIR of shopkeepers in Towcester have teamed up for charity day in memory of the former town councillor and businessman Robin Mills.

Tomorrow, The Mulberry Tree on Watling Street and Inside Out in the Museum Courtyard will donate 25 per cent of their takings to the Cynthia House Hospice.

Mr Mills had also been the chairman and president of the junior football teams but died in August following a battle against cancer.

His son Gary runs the Mulberry Tree with his mother Barbara and said: “The care and pain relief he received from the staff at the hospice was fantastic and came as a great support to both him and our wider family at what was obviously a very difficult time.”

The Mulberry Tree stocks gifts for the whole family while Inside Out focuses on items specifically for homes and gardens.
