Six injured in A421 horror crash

Six people including an 18-year-old girl with spinal injuries were taken to hospital after a crash on the A421 near Thornborough on Friday.

At around 8.10pm, a blue Citroen Saxo and a blue Perodua Kelisa collided on the A421 near the former Lone Tree pub outside Thornborough.

The driver of the Perodua, a 25-year-old woman, was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital with leg injuries.

The five occupants of the Citroen, including the 19-year-old man who was driving, were taken to hospital with injuries.

One of the occupants of the Citroen, an 18-year-old woman, received serious spinal injuries which will result in a long stay in hospital, police said.

The road was closed for five-and-a-half hours while investigators examined the scene.
