Plans for an 80-bed Snoozebox hotel at Silverstone Circuit have been submitted to Aylesbury Vale District Council.
The temporary hotel would be made up of ISO containers on two levels with 40 bedrooms on each. It is proposed to keep the hotel in place until October 2015.
The accommodation would be used in connection with motorsport competitions held at the track as well as corporate events. The hotel will be sited at the Vale and Club corner of the circuit along with 82 parking spaces. It is an interim measure put in place while the details of the Silverstone Circuit Masterplan are worked out.
Snoozebox, which names former Formula One driver David Coulthard as its president, already has another 80-bed hotel at Silverstone.
