A great summer evening’s entertainment and much skullduggery and fun is promised at Buckingham Choral Society’s concert on Saturday July 4 at 8pm. The society will be performing Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera The Yeoman of the Guard in the parish church as part of the Buckingham Summer Festival.

The audience will be transported back in time to the Tower of London in the 16th century with a complicated plot which concerns a gentleman falsely accused of sorcery.

Speaker John Bercow MP returns for his third G&S experience as guest narrator and will be joined by members of the highly acclaimed Orchestra of Stowe Opera as well as professional soloists.
