A demonstrator from Winslow who works for an international craft company has recently visited the US as a reward for her hard work.
Michelle Last travelled to Salt Lake City last month, a trip she earned through her work for Stampin’ Up!
There are around 1,400 Stampin’ Up! demonstrators across the UK, who have the opportunity to qualify for the annual incentive trip.
After hearing that Stampin’ Up! was expanding to the UK in 2007, Mrs Last decided to become a demonstrator so that she could buy the company’s products for herself.
After holding her first workshop her business continued to grow until she gave up her part-time job to focus on the business full-time.
She now runs regular classes in her local area.
Mrs Last said: “I get to do what I love every day, set my own schedule and work from home.
“I consider myself very lucky.”
As well as the usual tourist highlights, this year’s trip to the Deer Valley resort in Park City, Utah included a visit to the Stampin’ Up! US head office.
Mrs Last added: “I couldn’t wait to visit the offices and I wasn’t disappointed – all the staff had gathered on the balcony in reception to cheer and clap as we entered the building.”
This is the fourth time in four years that Michelle has qualified for an incentive trip.
Previous trips have been to Monaco, Prague and Vienna.
Stampin’ Up! sells a variety of craft items including stamps, paper, gifts, ribbon, tools and adhesives.
