Bicester Police Station will close to the public for four weeks from tomorrow, Tuesday, while maintenance work is carried out.
The front counter will close temporarily while a new heating system is installed and electrical repairs are carried out. The counter is usually open from Tuesday to Saturday, between 9am and 5pm.
Thames Valley Police says officers will be stationed in the building during the four-week closure, and incident response times will not be affected.
Members of the public who need a police counter service are advised to use Kidlington Police Station, which will have increased opening hours.
The Kidlington station will be open from 9am to 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and from 10am to 2pm on Mondays. For more information on police station opening times, see www.thamesvalley.police.uk.
