Businesses in Bicester and north Oxfordshire have until January 31 to enter the Cherwell Business Awards.
On May 16 the grounds of Dovecote Barn in Adderbury will host the third annual awards, which recognise the outstanding efforts of businesses and individuals.
There are nine categories to enter or be nominated for: Spratt Endicott Solicitors established business award, Ellacotts LLP Accountants business person of the year award, Cherwell District Council charity and community award, Integration Technology export award, Begbroke Science Park innovation and creativity award, NatWest small business award, Bloxham Mill new business award, Activate Learning (Banbury and Bicester College) staff training and development award and Bicester Village customer care award.
There is also a tenth category for the business of the year award with the winner to be chosen by the category’s sponsor, Norbar, from the finalists of the other nine categories.
Ben Jackson, Chairman of Bicester and District Chamber of Commerce said: “Last year these awards again delivered excellent exposure for the entrants and finalists. Entering for 2014 is a really good way of getting your business noticed and takes very little effort. Have a go, you never know.”
The three short-listed finalists in each category of the Cherwell Business Awards will be automatically submitted to the Oxfordshire Business Awards taking place in June.
