Visitors to Stowe Landscape Gardens can enjoy free entry to the National Trust gardens thoughout November and December.

As an early Christmas present, the gardens will be entirely free to walk around and opening times have also been extended to include every Wednesday through to Sunday.

The NT will also be helping visitors to save money with natural Christmas decoration ideas using pine cones and garden foliage. After wandering through a specially decorated Christmas tree displaying visitors can pick up a free glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.

David Brooks, property manager, added: “We have a great series of events taking place at Stowe over the next couple of months, I’m certainly looking forward to the talk about the Georgians at Christmas.”

There will also be range from craft sessions, talks and music from the Georgian era, and creative activities for children. To find out more visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk/stowegardens.
