Talent Tour: How you voted in search for local talent

AFTER frantic voting the results are finally in for the Advertiser and Review 2010 Talent Tour Competition.

Along with postal votes more than 600 people voted to send five acts through to the Grand Final on Friday, September 24. Three wild cards acts have also been chosen by The Rockhopper Studio music professionals who ran the competition.

Those going through to the final are; The High Jinks, Stephanie Mercedes Waugh, Izzy Griffiths, Resist, Ashleigh Maggs, Danger Salmon, Dan naD, and The Other Day.

Rockerhopper partner David Hall said: "I'm excited, there's a real variety of artist in the final. We've got solo artists, young bands, three piece bands.

"I'm just looking forward to a brilliant night of music and I'm sure with family and friends the atmosphere will be electric."
