There’s a chance for Winslow residents to find out more about the planned East West Rail project at a talk on Monday, June 17.

The East West Rail link between Oxford and Bedford, Aylesbury and Milton Keynes, due to open in December 2017, will see the opening of a new Winslow railway station.

Construction of a new rail route between Oxford and London Marylebone, via Islip and Bicester, is on track to start this summer and this will also provide the infrastructure for the Oxford-Bicester section of East West Rail.

Winslow’s Chamber of Trade has invited the East West Rail Consortium’s Patrick O’Sullivan to give a talk at 7pm on Monday in the function room of the Bell Hotel.
