Talk on role of lodging houses

bicester: Historian Liz Woolley will cast Victorian lodging houses in a more positive light at a meeting of Bicester Local History Society next Monday, April 16.

Her talk will investigate claims the lodging houses had an evil reputation, and will examine their useful functions using Oxfordshire examples. The meeting starts at 7.30pm in St Edburg’s Church Hall in Old Place Yard.
