Teenager pleads guilty to knife possession

A teenager has pleaded guilty to possessing a lock knife in a public place.

Charlotte Waugh, aged 18, of Mere Lane in Finmere, was charged on January 2 with one count of possessing a bladed article in a public place.

The charge relates to an incident in Well Street, Buckingham, on December 20.

Waugh made her guilty plea at Aylesbury Magistrates Court on Monday and was granted unconditional bail.

The case was adjourned to February 2 for a pre-sentence report.
