Temporary skate park visits town

YOUNG thrill seekers in Brackley will be pulling Caspers and Finger Flips as a temporary skate park arrives in the lead up to Christmas.

Between Monday, December 20 and Thursday, December 23 boarders and in-line skaters will be able to take advantage of a 2ft quarter pipe, a flatbank, flyovers, launch ramps, and a manual box at Brackley Leisure Centre in Springfield Way. Each child will have to register in and out of each of the sessions which are divided into 2pm to 3.45pm for eight to 12-year-olds and 4.15pm to 6pm for children aged 13 and over.

The event has been organised by the leisure centre and South Northants Council. While there are limited numbers of skateboards visitors should bring their own avoid disappointment. Call 01327 322078 for more information.
