Supermarket shoppers will have more choice than ever now that a new Aldi store has opened in Ossier Way.

The supermarket boasts five aisles, a 1,140 sqm sales area and 160 dedicated car parking spaces and will open from 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.

Aldi bosses celebrated the launch by presenting a cheque for £250 to the 3rd Buckingham Scouts.

The new store has also brought new jobs to the town, with a store manager, assistant store manager and up to 35 shop assistant vacancies being filled.

A spokesman for the firm said: “We have received a great deal of support from local people and we are all really excited about being part of the Buckingham community.”
