St James & St John School in Chackmore has an extra special raffle prize on offer.
One of the parents at the school has donated two tickets and a backstage tour to Black Sabbath’s sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena on the December 10.
Adam Wakeman, son of rock legend Rick Wakeman, and keyboard player for Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne, has three children at the school.
Rather than put the tickets in with the Christmas raffle, the school’s PTFA has set up a MyDonate webpage where people can donate £5 for a ticket to enter a draw, which will be held at the school’s Christmas Bazaar in Akeley Village Hall on Saturday, November 30.
There is no limit to the donation amount and number of tickets people can have in the draw.

Children at the school have also recorded a CD of songs with Mr Wakeman.
Called Sing Along With St James and St John, the CD will be on sale for £5 at the school bazaar, with £1 from every CD sold going to the Philippines disaster appeal by Save The Children.
