Buckingham’s Neighbourhood Development Plan went out for public consultation on Monday and the town council wants people’s responses.

The plan is being prepared by Buckingham Town Council on behalf of the town’s residents.

When completed, it will form the blueprint for development in Buckingham in the next 20 years, including housing, employment and related infrastructure.

Town clerk Chris Wayman said: “We’re looking for any comments. We want to know what people like or don’t like.”

The draft plan, which has a photograph by the late Dennis Granville on its cover, can be downloaded from www.buckingham-tc.gov.uk

A copy is also available to read in the reference section at Buckingham Library.

The first chance to quiz town council representatives over the plan takes place tomorrow, Saturday, when a public consultation event is being held from 9am to 2pm in the council chamber at Buckingham Community Centre.

There will also be events from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, December 8, and from 9am to 2pm on Saturday, January 4.

The public consultation closes on January 13.
