In the middle of a July heatwave, it’s time to start thinking about this year’s Buckingham Christmas Parade.
The parade will be held on Saturday, December 14, and the theme will be ‘A Child’s Christmas’.
The Christmas Parade was started by Steve and Rosemary Heywood in 1984 and they have been the leading lights in ensuring its continuance for 29 years, with generous support from Buckingham Town Council.
This year, Mr and Mrs Heywood will be standing aside from the committee but will continue to contribute from their many years of experience.
Volunteer marshals are needed to help with road closures and stewarding on the day. To offer your help, contact parade committee chairman Howard Mordue at firstname.lastname@example.org or via the town council.
