PEOPLE bought up in Towcester and want to live close to their families are being asked about their housing and community needs by South Northants Council.
The ‘Community and Housing Needs survey’ is being delivered to residents during January and gives them a chance to have their say on their current and future housing needs.
The results of the survey will be used alongside other evidence to help guide future developments that may take place in the town.
Rupert Fordham, SNC’s portfolio holder for community regeneration said: “Our housing strategy sets out our commitment to increase the supply of affordable housing in the district. This survey is one of the ways we identify those people with a local connection who want to live in Towcester, and the kind of housing required. It’s therefore important that we hear from as many local people as possible.”
Affordable housing is often provided by associations which helps people who can not afford to buy or rent on the open market.
