11am - The emergency services are currently dealing with a lorry fire on the A43 near Silverstone.

Just after 9am this morning, Wednesday, November 25, fire crews were called to Brackley Hatch, near to the Green Man Pub.

Advertiser photographer Jake McNulty took pictures from the Syresham B4525 bridge and said traffic was moving through a single lane as the lorry was removed.

He estimates traffic was queuing as far back as Brackley.

10.11am - The emergency services are currently dealing with a lorry fire on the A43 near Silverstone.

Just after 9am this morning, Wednesday, November 25, fire crews were called to Brackley Hatch, near to the Green Man Pub.

A spokesman for Northants Fire and Rescue said the cab and trailer were both on fire and that the trailer contained polystyrene and paper.

Police have closed the north bound carriageway, towards M1.

No injuries have been reported so far.
