Get your antiques valued by an expert when the National Trust hosts a Valuation Day with TV expert Eric Knowles.
The event takes place at Middle Claydon stately home Claydon House from 11am to 4pm on Wednesday, June 18.
Mr Knowles and a team of specialists covering ceramics, fine jewellery, Asian art, silver, watches, pictures, furniture, fountain pens, antique books and collectibles will be on hand to look at whatever you bring. And if it’s too large, you can take along a picture of it.
Mr Knowles said: “Having spent almost 35 years of my life taking part in both TV and day job valuation events, the simple truth is I never tire of sifting through boxes, bags and shopping trolleys in search of treasure.”
Claydon House manager Katie Phillips said: “Claydon House is where Eric himself first joined the National Trust and we are delighted he has chosen to come back to support Claydon for this event.
“We all have something hidden away in a cupboard at home that we’d love to find out more about and this day is the perfect opportunity for this.”
Entry £5 which includes up to three items to be valued. Items £1 each thereafter. Tickets must be booked in advance at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/claydon or call 01296 730349.
