A Kia Picanto driver has been reported for careless driving following an accident on a country lane near Stowe School at the weekend.
At around 1pm on Saturday, February 16, police, ambulance and fire crews from Brackley and Buckingham were called to Welsh Lane, near to the junction with the road to Water Stratford, following reports of a collision between a Land Rover and a Kia Picanto.
There were two women in the Kia, and one was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: “She had a broken sternum and broken ribs, the other woman had possible broken ribs and was taken to hospital via land ambulance.”
The road was closed for several hours and the driver of the Kia was reported for careless driving.
By the time rescue crews arrived three men had already exited the vehicles uninjured.
