Winslow’s St Laurence Room is hosting ‘an evening of distraction with identical twins Professor Victor and Dr Albert’ on Saturday, October 19, as part of the Theatre In The Villages series.

Identical twin brothers Professor Victor and Dr Albert are a musical comedy duo in the tradition of two men and one piano.

Their combination of music, song, comedy and sheer physical exertion make them a refreshing addition to the great British musical comedy tradition.

The duo, who have performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, count Tom Lehrer, Flanders and Swan, Kit and the Widow, Fascinating Aida, Hinge and Bracket and Tim Minchin among their influences.

Their highly original songs, at times risqué, cover a broad range of topics and taboos and range in style from complex classical musical arrangements to beat box.

The songs are linked together with tales of their personal battle of wills and struggle to survive each other.

The show starts at 8pm and refreshments will be on sale from 7pm. Tickets are £12 from Delicatessen Estrella, or call 01296 712466.

Community Bus transport can be arranged. Contact Sue on 01296 715786 or wdcbenquiries@btconnect.com.
