Breaking News: The referendum on the Winslow Neighbourhood Plan will go ahead as planned on Thursday, Aylesbury Vale District Council has confirmed.
Gladman Developments was granted a High Court hearing to seek an injunction to prevent the referendum taking place.
Following the hearing at Manchester’s High Court today, Tuesday, the application for the injunction was dismissed.
Thursday’s referendum will give Winslow residents the chance to have their say on whether they want the future development of the town to be in line with the neighbourhood plan until 2031.
Prepared by Winslow Town Council, the neighbourhood plan sets out sites for 455 homes, more than five hectares of employment land, along with educational and community facilities, including play facilities, a nursery and a new healthcare facility.
