Police are appealing for information following a burglary.

At about 2pm yesterday, Monday, someone smashed the glass in a rear patio door of a property on Towcester Road, Maids Moreton.

They entered the premise, which set off the burglar alarm and the would-be burglar or burglars left empty handed.

Two white men in their 20s, one of whom was wearing a white T-shirt, were seen in the area earlier that same afternoon, but it is not known whether or not they were involved in this crime.

DC Emma Francis from Aylesbury CID is keen to hear from anyone who might have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area at this time, or from anyone who saw these men.

Call DC Francis via the 24 hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre number 101.
